  1. Draw a rectangle to fill the canvas.
  2. Change the gradient to linear and rotate the design.
  3. Change the colors so that the bottom right hand corner is the darkest blue on the panel. Then incorporate the other blues and add a very light blue half-way across the bar. Then add the red to the top left corner.
  4. Add the texture Mesh at 3%.
  5. Lock the layer.
  6. Draw a circle and make the gradient Radical a light yellow on the inside and then turning to a darker shade then the red on the very edge.
  7. Give it a Swish texture at 20%.
  8. The border is watercolor thick at 3 and red.
  9. Move the circle to the top left corner and slightly off the screen.
  10. Lock the layer.

Two Fruits- Water-Orange

For this assignment we combined two different fruits.

1. First get a picture of half a water melon and use the "magic wand" and "lasso" marquee tools to edit out the fruit of the water melon. Close that layer so you don't edit the wrong fruit.
2. Paste a picture of half an orange on top of the watermelon.
3. Use the marquee tools to remove the top half of the orange and the peel.
4. Use the distort tool to move the orange to the perfect shape.
5. Group the fruits together after they fit together.

Pictography

For this assignment we selected an object and made smaller copies of the object to make the bigger object.

With Picture

I opened up two pictures of a strawberry and used the lasso tool to remove the outside edges of one of the strawberries. Then I scaled the strawberry to a small size and made duplicates and placed them all over the strawberry. Next, I did the stem by arranging the strawberries at the stem so you could mostly only see the small stems.

Thank You

Black Swan Business Card

For this assignment we had to create three business cards using a black swan image. The levels were unprofessional, midlevel, and nonprofessional.

Unprofessional

For this business card I drew a rectangle and gave it a purple border and a teal inside with a the swirl texture. Then I took the black swan image and gave it a radical gradient and made the colors rainbows. Next I copied the swan and horizontally flipped the image. Then I type the company name, address, and email, changed the color and placed them where I wanted them.

Midlevel

I drew a rectangle to cover the canvas and made it pink with a texture. Then I put the swan image on the rectangle and put a picture of a storm as a mask on it. Then I added a border to the swan than was dark blue. Then I wrote the contact information.

Professional

The rectangle I drew for this card was in the opposite direction. I gave it a gradient that faded from dark blue to white. Then I added the swan and pasted inside an image of snow falling and a small, blue border. Then I added the contact information and made it dark blue.

Thank you.

To move the text the appropriate way I converted the text to paths then ungrouped it. Then you scale the objects and rotate them to the right size and position. Change the color to the color behind the text.
